Day 1:
From Airport Katunayake proceed to Anuradhapura a World Heritage Site in the North Central Province and the cradle of Buddhist civilization in Sri Lanka dating back to the 4th century BC. It is the first capital city of ancient Sri Lanka. View the magnificent stupas and monuments dating back over 1000 - 2000 years, the amazing irrigation works of an ancient civilization and the Sri Maha Bodhi reputedly the oldest recorded tree in the world.

Day 2:
Visit Pollonnaruwa another World Heritage Site and the medieval capital of Sri Lanka. See ancient palaces, temples and reservoirs. Overnight at Pollonnaruwa. Accommodation: choose from 1-4star hotels, Guest Houses, Wattle and Daub Huts, Lodges, and Bungalows etc.

Day 3:
Proceed to Dambulla a World Heritage Site in the Central Province. Visit the famous cave temple complex dating back to the 1st century BC. Day 4:
Visit the world famous Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela . Day 5:

Day2:
Leave for Wilpattu National Park one of the largest wild life parks in Sri Lanka, renowned for its Leopard population. Day3:
Climb Sigiriya Rock the sky fortress of King Kasyapa and view the world renowned Sigiriya Frescoes at this World Heritage Site. Proceed to Kandy the hill capital of Sri Lanka and in the evening visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (World Heritage Site). Day4:
Leave for Arugambay on the East coast. Day5:

Day6:

Day7:
Afternoon proceed to Katunayake Airport. En route visit Ratnapura (city of gems) world famous for its precious stones.

Day 2:
Early morning visit Yala National Park. Horton Plains is a plateau situated about 2300m above sea level and rich in bio diversity.The Plains are covered by grassland and forest and provide sanctuary to a variety of rare fauna and flora including some bird species found only in this location. Day 4:

Day 6:
Morning tour the medieval capital of Pollonnaruwa another World Heritage Site and see ancient palaces, temples and reservoirs. Day 7:
In Trincomalee at leisure. On the beach and sight- seeing.
